CLARITY CALL
Fifty minutes with a CPA. Your questions, your numbers, your next step.
For the business owner who isn’t ready for monthly services, isn’t sure if they’re ready, or wants a CPA conversation before anything bigger. Bring your stuck point. Leave with a clear answer.
WHO BOOKS A CLARITY CALL
Four kinds of business owners walk into a Clarity Call.
-
You have the idea and you’re ready to launch. You want to understand what you actually need to do first: CRA registration requirements, HST thresholds, what you can and can’t write off, and the tax structure that fits your situation. Fifty minutes with a CPA before you make the moves that shape the first year.
-
You’ve been running as a sole proprietor and you’re wondering if it’s time to incorporate. You want a clear-eyed read on the tax math, the cost of running a corporation, and whether the move actually serves your business.
-
You’re thinking about expanding the business you have or considering opening a holding company. You want a CPA’s read on the structure before the moving pieces are already in motion.
-
You’re starting fresh inside QuickBooks Online or migrating from another system, and you have specific questions about how to set it up right. We provide Independent QuickBooks Setup Services through the Clarity Call format. Note that a full chart of accounts and integration build is more than we can complete in 50 minutes, but we can absolutely tackle your specific questions, review your current setup, and give you a clear next step to finish on your own.
WHAT YOU GET
A 50-minute working session with a CPA, and what you walk away with.
A 50-minute one-to-one Google Meets call with Martina or Ashli.
A brief email exchange before the call so we know what you want to cover and can arrive prepared.
Direct answers to your specific questions, not generic advice from a search engine.
A clear written summary of next steps, sent to you after the call.
CPA-backed direction on whatever you came in with.
THE INVESTMENT
$375 for the call.
One-time. No subscription. No upsell pressure on the call. If something bigger comes up as a natural next step, we’ll tell you. If it doesn’t, we won’t pretend.
THE PROCESS
Four steps from purchase to written direction.
-
Purchase your $375 Clarity Call one-time. Once payment is received, the next step starts on our side.
-
Within 24 to 48 hours of your purchase, you’ll get an email from Martina or Ashli. We’ll find a time that works, send you the engagement letter to sign, and ask a few questions over email about what you’d like to cover. No formal intake form, just a real conversation.
-
Fifty minutes together on Google Meets. Bring the questions you’ve been turning over. It’s honestly surprising how much ground we can cover in a focused hour.
-
After the call, we send a clear written summary of direction and next steps. Yours to keep.
FAQ - BEFORE YOU BOOK
A few questions we hear before the booking link.
-
It is CPA-backed direction on the specific question you bring. We don’t provide formal tax advice or sign off on filings without an engagement letter in place. If your question calls for that, we’ll tell you and explain what that next step looks like.
-
Not by design. Most Clarity Call clients come for one specific answer and never need us again. Occasionally, the call surfaces something we can help with on a project basis, like setting up a QuickBooks Online file for a newly incorporated business. We’ll mention it on the call if it comes up. The Clarity Call itself isn’t a funnel for our monthly service.
-
Yes, and you’d be surprised how much we can cover in a focused hour. We’ll know what you want to cover from our email exchange before the call, and most clients land somewhere in the range of two to four real questions. The more focused, the more useful.
-
No. The Clarity Call is platform-agnostic. The exception is the QuickBooks setup version, which is specifically for new or migrating QuickBooks Online users.
-
Cancellations and rescheduling require 24 hours written notice. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, the call fee will not be refunded.
We provide a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals. Calls that begin late will still end at the original scheduled time. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may forfeit the call, with no refund issued.
Due to the nature of the Clarity Call service, no refunds are issued once the call has taken place.
YOUR NEXT STEP
One call. Real direction.
Book your Clarity Call. Bring the questions you can’t stop turning over. Leave with a CPA’s direction and a written next step.
